Brasserie des Légendes consists of two traditional breweries in Irchonwelz and Elzele (Henegouwen). The company was founded in 2000 by Pierre Delcoigne and his spouse Vinciane Wergifosse, bringing together tradition and technology in order to create top fermentation beers with a very rich flavour.
“We thereby attach a great deal of importance to quality and hygiene”, according to Pierre Delcoigne. “We aim to make the best possible beer and the production process forms a crucial part of this. We first became acquainted with Tensio in 2011 and we quickly discovered their added value in terms of food safety and cleaning options.”
Fully committed to the future together with Tensio
Brasserie des Légendes produced more than 14,000 hectolitres of beer in 2016. As the old brewery in Irchonwelz had virtually reached its limit, Pierre and Vinciane decided to take a new step.
“Firmly focussing on quality and innovative production methods, we felt opting for a completely new brewery would be the best option. An intensive investment of more than 10 million euro allowed us to work at the very highest level, both where our customers as well as our 20 members of staff are concerned,” according to Pierre Delcoigne.
“We were in a position to officially open the new brewery at the end of September 2017. In addition to the new buildings, we also opted to raise our collaboration with Tensio up to a higher level. From the start of this year we have been counting on their comprehensive approach, in terms of its services, expertise and cleaning products. The integrated approach allows us to work in an even more efficient and safe manner.”
